2026 I Refer Her Women’s Conference 2026 💫
Recently, I became aware that a friend was being taken advantage of financially due to early dementia. It was heartbreaking to witness. Before my sister passed away, she too had been targeted and manipulated by men overseas through online romance scams. Experiences like these are painful, but they also opened my eyes to how vulnerable so many women can be when it comes to financial fraud.
Romance scams alone are one of the most common forms of financial fraud, causing more than $1.14 billion in reported losses each year, with many victims losing thousands of dollars. Women over 40—especially those who are divorced, widowed, or living with disabilities—are often specifically targeted. Scammers frequently use “too good to be true” job offers, fake investment opportunities (often involving cryptocurrency), or urgent requests for help to exploit women who may be navigating financial challenges or major life transitions.
At I Refer Her, we believe knowledge is power. Our goal is to help women of all ages recognize the warning signs, understand the language scammers use, and build financial literacy that protects both their present and their future. This is about more than avoiding scams—it’s about protecting your wealth, securing your legacy, and ensuring your family is cared for long after you’re gone.
We invite you to join us for a powerful weekend of connection, learning, and empowerment at our Women’s Conference: Resilience, Wealth, and Wellness (October 24 -25)—where women come together to strengthen their knowledge, protect their future, and uplift one another. 💛
